Sartori’s Mechanical recently undertook a meticulous repair task on a Kobelco excavator experiencing an oil leak. Upon our on-site inspection, the issue was diagnosed as a faulty seal within the final drive. After swiftly obtaining our customer’s go-ahead, our team initiated the repair without delay.

The operation began with disassembling the excavator’s track to detach the final drive, which was then transported to our workshop for a thorough examination. There, the faulty seal was identified and exposed by dismantling the final drive. Following this, we promptly ordered the necessary replacement parts and awaited their arrival.

Upon receipt of all required components, we meticulously reassembled the final drive, ensuring the integration of new seals. The reassembled final drive was then taken back to the site for installation. Our team meticulously reattached the track, replenished the final drive with oil and conducted a comprehensive test to confirm the absence of leaks.

The test results were successful, indicating a complete resolution of the issue. We promptly informed our customer that the excavator was repaired and operational, allowing us to conclude the project efficiently.
